Project Description:

The Co-Companion is a complementary resource to the Companion to Portuguese Literature published in 2009. It will give an extensive range of data on authors, texts, and historical context, with intensive links to a large bibliography of history, criticism and literary translations. With the aid of a John Fell grant the database has been populated with initial lists of authors, works and criticism. Partner institutions are being sought to develop a consortium to bid for funds to expand and maintain the content.
